Enter Polychrome
As we enter a new phase of growth for our software and our company, we’re excited to announce a pivotal partnership! Checkbox has secured investment from Polychrome, a software holding company that’s focused on unlocking growth for small to medium B2B software companies. This partnership has been in the works since 2022, and behind the scenes, we’ve been collaborating on a few key projects and updates to our core product, our team and the service we deliver to our clients!
This isn’t just an acquisition - it’s a meaningful joint venture that will help us achieve product velocity, efficiency, customer success and business growth. We’re on a mission to truly become a partner to the companies we work with; providing the tools they need to elevate their customer experience and increase the value of their products.
Since we launched our partnership with Polychrome, we’ve set some exciting developments and initiatives in motion (with more on the way). Our customers have already expressed a great deal of enthusiasm and appreciation for the upgrades we’ve made so far.
Here are some of the strides we’ve made in improving Checkbox as a company and a product.
New User Interface and Design
One of the most exciting developments we’ve had here at Checkbox is the introduction of a new UI and Design. This major milestone is the culmination of the work we’ve done behind-the-scenes to deliver a better core product to our users. If you’re a customer, you’ll notice a few key changes to the software. This refreshed UI brings a modern, sleek new look, but the changes aren’t just visual. This new UI launched on September 26 and is focused initially on the global navigation, reporting, and charts. From here, users can expect further iterative updates that will improve all areas of the product end-to-end.
Launch of Checkbox 8
Another development we’ve been working on is the launch of Checkbox 8, a new iteration of our software which includes new functionality such as SAML support as well as improved stability. Additionally, we’ve upgraded the core infrastructure of the application allowing for future updates to Dockerize the application and PostgreSQL support. In the last few years, security has become a top-of-mind concern for anyone who uses apps and software. These changes enable us to deliver on our commitment to security, reduce cost of ownership, and allow for open source components over time.
A Shift From Reactive Support to Proactive Problem-Solving
In this new era of Checkbox, one of our biggest priorities is to become a strategic partner to our customers. That means not just providing support when issues arise, but getting ahead of problems, anticipating our user’s needs and having ongoing conversations so we can align our software with their business goals. In order to do this effectively, we’ve increased our support team so we can resolve tickets faster, improve our coverage to areas such as the EU, MENA, and APAC, and hold quarterly business reviews with our Enterprise customers.
Team Growth
In addition to growing our support team, we’ve also expanded the team from 3 full-time hires to 8. These roles are positioned across all departments including Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales. This will empower us to ship more features such as integrations, AI-powered analysis, and research-oriented survey tools.

Our near term goals are increasing product velocity based on user feedback.
